Vintage The Wizard of Oz 1944

This is one of those stories that defines "the classics." Reprinted in 1944, this hardcopy version is a beautiful rendition. The illustrations and typesetting look like the original. The title page title is "The New Wizard of Oz", but the spine says "The Wizard of Oz." It has several beautiful color illustrations drawn by Evelyn Copelman.

The book is in excellent vintage condition. It is missing the dust cover, but the hardcover is solid. There is some fading of the red on the spine and the gray on the back cover (see photos). There are no torn pages.
