The Alemannic belt is based on the discovery from Balingen in southern Germany and dates back to samples of the of the 5th-6th century - the Merovingian period. During the early middle ages belts of this type were worn by the merovingian Franks and Alemanni.
The early medieval belt comes in brown or in black leather with bronze-or silver colored buckle and fittings.
The Alemannic belt is 5 cm wide and available in three sizes:
